Most people in technology understand one side or the other. The value is in understanding how they connect — how a network issue becomes an imaging problem, how a scanner or workflow issue can disrupt milling, how a backup gap becomes a HIPAA-related risk, how a vendor handoff becomes lost production.
The provider built to understand your whole environment.
Modern dental practices run on technology. Benova exists to support all of it — the IT foundation and the dental workflows that run on top of it — and to take responsibility for the whole picture.
Two kinds of help — neither covers everything
Built to live in the gap.
Modern dental practices run on technology — practice-management software, imaging, CBCT, intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM, CEREC, milling, networks, and backups. But when something goes wrong, dental offices are usually caught between two kinds of help. Generic IT providers understand computers but not dental workflows. Equipment and software vendors understand their own product but won't own the whole environment. The practice owner ends up in the middle.
Benova was built to live in that gap — to be the one provider who understands both the IT side and the dental side, and who takes responsibility for the whole picture.
Engineering foundation, dental fluency.
My foundation is in computer engineering and networking, with hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, system administration, and network and security fundamentals.
But the part most technology providers can't offer is the other half: real, hands-on experience inside digital dentistry itself. I've worked directly with the scanning, imaging, CAD/CAM, CEREC, milling, and 3D-printing workflows that modern practices depend on — including the material and block workflows behind crowns, implant restorations, surgical guides, night guards, and digital models. I understand how a case moves from scan to design to mill, what the software and equipment need at each step, and where these workflows tend to break.
How a case actually moves
The value is in understanding how it all connects.
That's the difference between a technician who fixes what's in front of them and a partner who understands how all of it works together inside your practice.
Independent by design
Guidance with no product to push.
Benova doesn't sell equipment or software. That means the guidance you get is based on what's right for your practice — not on a product anyone's trying to move. And because we understand the whole environment, we can work alongside your existing vendors and coordinate between them, so you're not the one caught in the middle.
You also work directly with someone who knows your setup and remembers your environment, rather than starting over with a new technician every time.
Clear about what we support — and what we don't.
Your lab, your CAD designer, and your equipment vendors do important work, and the choices about that work are yours. Benova supports the technology, systems, and workflows that help your practice use all of it reliably — the networks, computers, backups, security, and coordination that everything else depends on.
Benova is built to stay focused on dental practices, not to be everything to everyone. That focus is deliberate: starting with a single problem solved well, and growing into a long-term partnership if the fit is right.
